The December issue of Seminars in Cutaneous Medicine and Surgery features an article by Dr. Tanghetti entitled, “Short-Pulsed Laser for the Treatment of Tattoos, Pigmented Lesions, Scars and Rejuvenation.” This recent review describes the use of picosecond lasers for the treatment of tattoos, pigmented lesions, scars, and their use in rejuvenation. Dr. Tanghetti has been a leader in the research of picosecond lasers and his work has helped push acceptance of these devices beyond their initial applications in tattoo removal into areas such as skin rejuvenation.
